Title : Enrich puberphonia patient’s life with ancestral voice by an innovative, non-invasive successful uvula manipulation and resonance treatment

Abstract

A 90 minutes / live demonstration with palatal-uvula obturators, short-term prosthetics used to create low pitch speech production, Virtual Reality and APP.  “Treat puberphonia in one day” workshop provides opportunity for “hands-on” or skill-based practice or learning. This topic is important to the prospective audience because it is specific, relevant common condition of an unknown etiology. Didactic presentations are kept to a minimum. Active learning is encouraged through case-based discussions, group exercises, video case review, and communication skills practice. It's a great way to teach hands-on skills in puberphonia because it offers participants a chance to try out our/your new non-invasive, outpatient treatment methods in an easily recognized, common, unattended ENT problem.
