Scarless Techniques for Tumor Removal of the Parotid-masticatory and Submandibular Regions: Patient Satisfaction and Surgical Outcomes

According to the researches,
salivary gland tumors constitute 3-6% of head and neck tumors, representing a
clinically significant proportion. The presentation aims to provide mean of an
innovative approach to improve surgical access, and minimize scar, when
removing tumors of parotid and submandibular glands, using a modified facelift
incision. Current traditional surgical approaches, particularly Blair's
S-shaped incision and direct transcutaneous access, frequently result in

a fundamentally new solution that combines the radicality of pathology removal
with an excellent cosmetic results and minimal psychological trauma for the patient.
This surgical technique is applicable to patients of all ages. In younger
patients, it minimizes visible scarring, while in older patients, it allows for
the simultaneous correction of age-related soft tissue changes via facelift
